    Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : The photograph shows the Golden Lion Inn in the Bigg Market in c. 1889. The proprietor of the inn is F. Veasey. A leather merchants is on one side of the inn on the other side is an empty shop (John Younie) with Richard Bell's establishment next to it. A tradesman and his cart are in the road in front of Richard Bell's.
