    Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : This 1928 black-and-white photograph shows the building of the New Tyne Road Bridge. There are just a couple of sections needed to complete the span.This is one of a series of photographs commissioned by the contractor Dorman Long to record the construction of the bridge. The bridge was designed by Mott Hay and Anderson with R.
