    One of the pioneering early kerosene tankers, built by W.Richardson & Co. at Walker for Russian oil magnate Sydor Shibayev We are delighted to share images from the 15 Photographic Folios we hold at the City Library, ships built by Armstrong, Mitchell, Whitworth and Company Ltd. between 1880 and 1931.   These images are, to the best of our knowledge, in the public domain. You are welcome to use them in any way you like – we would love it if you could say you got them from the Newcastle City Library Photographic Collection. We will be adding more images soon   We are unable to provide High Quality Digital copies of these images.
