    "Carved stone post by the B6318, in parish of WHITTINGTON (TYNEDALE District), Halton Red House, east of Down Hill, in verge against wall, on South side of road. Military road number tombstone, erected by the Newcastle upon Tyne to Carlisle turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : 15 : (To Newcastle) Scheduled Monument. The Milestone is within this area of Hadrian's Wall. Milestone Society National ID: NB_NCCL15." Photo by IA Davison, 2001.
