Description
The owner, Lunius Dubitatis has written his name and the name of his unit, the century of Iulius Magnus of the Eight Legion, on it in punched dots. The original was found in the river Tyne in 1867 and may have been washed out from a 2nd century shipweck at the mouth of the river. It is now in the British Museum in London. -
