Eden residents chip in to help reopen village pub

"UPPER Eden villagers enjoyed their first local pint in more than a year – after rallying together to re-open their village pub in just under two weeks.....The Bay Horse Inn, at Winton, near Kirkby Stephen, opened its doors to 200 customers with new managers Becky Tunningley and her partner Richard Mountain at the helm.... We’ve had people doing the plumbing, polishing, painting, touching up the signs, installing fire places – someone even delivered pews from Kaber church for customers to sit on....
