More than 300 new homes coming to North Tyneside after controversial housing plans approved

    Chronicle Live, 26 Nov 2021....Bitterly contested plans for hundreds of new homes in North Shields have been given the go-ahead by the council. Northumberland Estates was given permission to build 310 houses on land next to Rake House Farm, Rake Lane....the site is part of a wider plot of land that has been earmarked for 3,000 houses....
