Footbridge over Scur Beck

Scur Beck

River Tees

  • Description

"From Naby, the footpath drops steeply south into the confusingly named North Gill Wood. It's confusing because the stream here (which has just passed under North Gill bridge and north of North Gill Farm) is called Scur Beck. North Gill lies to the south and is unnamed on the maps, but gives its name to North Gill Farm and then, by proximity, the bridge and the wood." Photo by Andy Waddington, 2009.
