Rigmaden Park

  • Description

"The building on the left (partially obscured by the trees) appears to be a shell. Mike Martin from Western Australia, made contact to offer the following: 'Our School, "Ridgeways" in Wimbledon, we were all evacuated there during the second world war for about 2 years, at the time it felt longer as it was very cold in winter and we were always hungry as most small boys are. I am 78 now and live in Western Australia (Since 1950) another boy who was in my class is living in Minneapolis USA so who are left who went there are now all over the world'."
