"Carved stone post which was on the A683, in parish of MIDDLETON (SOUTH LAKELAND District), Hawking Hall, now in field behind Middleton Church (200m from find spot) 74m West of the road, near a tree (SD 62280 85885) - need permission from farmer to visit, on West side of road.
