    "Located in the south-east corner of St Andrew's churchyard, the memorial dates from 1920 but also has Second World War names added. Listed grade II (List entry 1400659) for reasons including that it was "designed by Sir John Hubert Worthington, an Old Sedberghian and Principal Architect of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission"."
