Description
School now house. Dated 1856. Limestone rubble with red sandstone dressings. slate roof. T-shaped plan with lean-tos in the angles; Gothic Revival style. Single storey. Front gable has large quoins and triple lancets in bonded ashlar surrounds, each light with latticed iron casement and shouldered head. Above the windows a ribbon reads 'FEAR GOD AND HEED HIS COMMANDMENTS' and above that a quatrefoil plaque under hoodmould states '1856....
