Old School House, Warkworth

  • Description

"An attractive 18thC house close by the river in Warkworth. The rather faded inscription over the doorway gives details of the benefactor who gifted the school to the town in 1736. It served as the borough school until around 1890." Photo by Gordon Hatton, 2014.
