    View from the top of the villa on Roa Island looking south at LMS Hopper No 2 and cargo ship SS Arnotegi - Mendi aground on the foreshore. Two small cannons on lawn inside of iron fence. Ship was carrying 6,000 tons of iron ore from Almeria to barrow for the Askam and Millom Ironworks. The hopper came off the Piel Island Jetty on the evening of the 20 Jan and Arnoldi- Mendi was expected to be refloated on the next high tide.
