Lowther Arcade

  • Description

"Looking more lively than usual, as a venue for Carlisle Arts Festival. Most of the shops have been empty for some time, so were made available for artists to display their work for 10 days. The arcade runs between English Street and Lowther Street, and dates from 1904." Photo by Rose and Trev Clough, 2009.
