ALLENDALE TOWN BRIDGE, OVER RIVER EAST ALLEN - List Entry

    Bridge, early C19, altered C20. Squared rubble, parapets raised and south end of west parapet rebuilt in squared and tooled stone. Segmental arch with moulded arch ring flanked by pilasters carried up as piers beyond which the parapets splay out to further piers. Triangular-section coping. Drain with large stone spout in parapet wall adjacent to north-east end pier....
