Description
"....The Parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help was formed on 1st November 2020 by Bishop Paul Swarbrick, Bishop of Lancaster. Our parish is the most northerly parish within the Diocese of Lancaster and brought together the former parishes of Our Lady of Eden, Cumbrian Martyrs, Sacred Heart of Jesus and St Augustine. Now together as one parish community we journey together to know, love and serve the Living Lord Jesus. Our parish is made up of six churches where our community worships, prays, is formed and sent for mission. The six churches are Our Lady & St Wilfrid, Our Lady & St Joseph, St Bede, St Margaret Mary, Christ the King and St Augustine. Our parish sustains the Catholic community of Carlisle and the surrounding towns and villages..." -
