Clasper Village, Gateshead 360° - An experiment in virtual environment (2017)

  • Description

This work was made as part of our 'An experiment in Virtual Environment' project (2016-17), made possible with funding from Arts Council England and supported by Samsung. This Virtual Reality (VR) artwork explores the half-demolished Clasper Village estate in Gateshead. We filmed this in March 2017 and although much of the estate was gone and most of the remaining homes boarded-up, a couple of resilient residents were still living there.
