    Lake District. Various shots as the sea cadets stand to attention during the hoisting of the flag for divisions. M/S as buglers play. Various shots as they learn how to tie knots and attend signalling class. M/S as one boy concentrates hard on steering the ship's wheel. Various shots of physical training including rope climbing and stretching exercises. The boys dive off a boat and swim in the lake. They learn how to hoist the sail on a small boat and also learn lifeboat drill and oarsmanship, M/S as they row in their boat. L/S side view as they march along then stand to attention.
