    Ambleside, Lake District. L/S of farmers gathering hay. Several scenic shots of the countryside around Ambleside. Children collect rushes, heather and flowers to make into crosses. M/S of the children with their finished crosses. They march through the town to the church of St. Oswald. The camera pans down the spire to the door as they enter.
