Item title reads: " The Prince...Pit lad. During tour of Lake District, the Prince, to joy of spectators, descends Haig pit, in Miner's overalls." Whitehaven, Lake District Prince Edward walks from a building dressed in miners' overalls towards the pit head. From inside there is shot across the lift shaft to the group waiting to descend.
