Beach in Wesley Square

  • Description

"Just off the Quayside, in front of the Law Courts, Wesley Square has been covered with sand and deck chairs to make a beach. Not many takers on this day. The obelisk is the memorial fountain to John Wesley, who first preached in Newcastle on Sunday May 30th. 1742." Photo by David P Howard, 2013.
