    "The buildings on the west side of the street were designed by two assistants of Richard Grainger, John Wardle and George Walker. This grand block punctuates one end of the section between High Bridge and Mosley Street. Grade II* listed. Behind its later shopfront (c1900) was a coffee shop, Blake's."
