"Landscape parkland associated with Fallodon Hall. Probably designed by Samuel Salkeld and John Dobson. The present house was built in 1730 on the site of an ealrier property belonging to the Salkeld family; Samuel Salkeld was a noted horticulturalist in the late 17th century. John Dobson worked at the hall in 1815. A walled garden to the north east contains some 17th century masonry and a furnace and heating ducts...." -
