    "The bridge carries a minor road over the River Derwent. Upstream and downstream of this location the river at Baybridge forms the boundary between Northumberland and County Durham but for some reason, for a short distance including at the bridge, the county boundary moves to the north meaning that here, both river and bridge are entirely in Durham."
