Alley off St John's Street

  • Description

"The alley continues the line of Rosemary Lane north beyond its junction with St John Street. A gap site on the left was created when buildings next to the former Wenger's Department Store were demolished in 1995 http://www.flickr.com/photos/newcastlelibraries/4087440856/ At the top of the lane are the rear buildings of City Vaults, a large pub and nightclub off Bigg Market [[1693051]]. The alley is blocked by the smoking terrace." Photo by Andrew Curtis, 2010.
