  • Description

"Morpeth Old Bridge was constructed in the 13th Century. After the new Telford Bridge was built, the arches of the Old Bridge were blown up in 1834 and the surviving pier and abutments were used to support this wooden footbridge." Photo by Russel Wills, 2013.
