"Bridge. 1809 incorporating one arch from an earlier probably C16 bridge. Ashlar. Two main broad segmental arches with arch bands and triangular cutwater between. On west side a flood arch. One side of this is a high round C18 arch. The other side is a shallow segmental arch with chamfered voussoirs and 4 large close-set ribs, square in section....." -
