"Built in 1851 with additions made in 1858 by John Dobson although now subdivided into two houses. Holeyn Hall was the home of Sir Charles Parsons, a British engineer and inventor of the steam turbine, used in electricity generating stations, and later applied to marine propulsion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Algernon_Parsons The landscaped grounds include a walled kitchen garden, a terraced walk with steps to the lawn below, and a plantation of pine trees.
