"Public house and adjoining house. Dated and inscribed over entrance G & GI 1688 with C19 alterations. Incised stucco and roughcast walls. Graduated greenslate roof with brick and stone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays, with 2-bay former stable to right and 2-bay house to left, all under common roof. Top-glazed panelled door in chamfered surround with inscribed lintel under hoodmould. Sash windows in C19 painted stone surrounds. Former stable has C20 doors and windows in plain reveals...." -
