Jesmond Dene House Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne

  • Description

"Looking across an empty car park towards the hotel building. The hotel was closed, and car park empty, due to restrictions imposed by the UK government to attempt to control the spread of the infectious COVID-19 disease which was spreading in the country in the spring of 2020. Restrictions to limit the pandemic included the mandatory closure of most hospitality businesses, non essential shops, and requiring the entire population to stay at home other than in a closely regulated set of circumstances.
