Friends of St Edmunds Church Sedgefield

  • Description

"Everyone in Sedgefield benefits from the Church – even if it’s just to check the time on the tower clock. St Edmund’s is a magnificent building that characterises Sedgefield, attracts visitors from over a wide area, and is one reason why so many people want to live in the town. It’s also a great asset to the community and it’s unthinkable that it should ever fall into disrepair and become an eyesore! That’s why The Friends of Saint Edmund’s group was formed. Its primary role is to safeguard the fabric of the ancient building by raising funds to ensure that the Church can be preserved for generations to come, irrespective of an individual’s religious commitment...."
