Description
"House and Schoolroom; house 1751 refronted c,1850, schoolroom late C17 or early C18 altered. House front rock-faced masonry, rear and schoolroom squared stone; slate roofs. House 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central renewed door under triangular head with sunk spandrels; 2-light mullioned windows, with casements, in chamfered surrounds; ground floor windows with labels. Coped right gable with kneelers, right end and ridge stacks. Old Schoolroom to right I storey, 2 bays. Central boarded door with 2-pane overlight, late C19 sash windows. Right return has round-headed window. Reverse stepped gable carries small bellcote with segment-headed arch. Rear elevation altered. To left of house former school, now parish church (q.v.)...." -
