Monks Bridge

  • Description

Monks Bridge - also known as Matty Benn's bridge after the family who lived nearby - on Cold Fell, Ennerdale, Cumbria. The oldest packhorse bridge in Cumbria - it looks 'impossible' and ready to collapse at any minute but is still as strong as ever.
