The Mortal Man

  • Description

A traditional Lakeland inn, the http://www.themortalman.co.uk/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Mortal Man sits in an enviable location with great views of the Troutbeck valley. An array of locally produced real ales, solid dependable food and a roaring fire attract many ruddy-faced walkers. It is the very epitome of a rural pub. Happily, our holiday cottage was 150 yards away. And the kids kept asking to go there. Who was I to deny them? Although, on reflection, they would walk over hot coals for even the remote chance of getting chips for tea.
