    "Carved stone post by the UC road (was A66), in parish of TEMPLE SOWERBY (EDEN District), Kirkby Thore, near junction with the A66, inside railings on piece of no through road, on North side of road. Roman milestone, erected by the Government in the 3rd century. Inscription illegible. Scheduled Monument.
