King Arthur's Round Table, Eamont Bridge
-
Description
"This prehistoric earthwork has, unsurprisingly, nothing to do with King Arthur. It is a circular henge, a grassy ring fortification, dating to 2,000 - 3,000 BC. There is a larger earthwork ring, Mayburgh Henge, about a half mile west of this one." Photo by Colin Smith, 2007. -
