The Salutation Inn, High Hesket - April 2017

  • Description

"Late 18th or early 19th Century public house which is Grade II listed. Strangely, while the Carlisle State Management Scheme "nationalised" the Rose & Crown in adjacent Low Hesket, The Salutation Inn escaped Government control. Still trading. Photograph is for record only - I have no connection with this business and cannot advise on its products or services." Photo by The Carlisle Kid, 2017.
