Northern Promenade, Whitley Bay

  • Description

The next phase of the renovation of Whitley Bay’s Northern Promenade began in mid October 2020 and is expected to be complete by spring 2021 (pandemic permitting!). "North Tyneside Council is investing more than £1million in the project, which will see the external renovation of the much-loved Rendezvous Café and elements of The Links Gallery Cafe, the public toilets revamped, the Dukes Walk car park resurfaced and the promenade surface and public realm in the areas around the cafes upgraded."
