On the waterfront, Rickergate, Carlisle

  • Description

"View from outside Debenhams (right) at the northern end of The Lanes shopping centre. That store was closed, but Sunday shopping carried on as usual at most others in the city centre. The brownish building on the left is the former Police Station, the force moved out after a similar flood in January 2005. The tall block further down on the right is Carlisle Civic Centre."
