    "House. Late C17 extended late C18 or early C19. Brick in English Garden Wall Bond. Graduated Lakeland slate roof. Double-span main block with lower wing projecting to rear forming L-plan. Front is in 2 sections. Main block: 2 storeys plus attics, 5 bays. 4 moulded steps up to 2-leaf half-glazed door in late C18 wood surround with attached Tuscan columns, dentil cornice and pediment...."
