Cambokeels mine plant

  • Description

"Seven years after its closure in 1987, much of Cambokeels mine's plant was still in situ and relatively undamaged by vandals or the scrap man. The main shed here contained compressed air, pumping and ventilation equipment, while the brick building beyond contained an electrical sub-station and switchgear." Photo by John Gibson, 1994.
