Portinscale Organ

  • Description

from the Mission Hall. Was in Broughton Moor St Columba's for a few years before the reed palette started to leak giving a good rendition of bagpipes. Unfortunately irrepairable and sadly used for spares. The top was taken for restoration and is now incorporated into an Eaglesfield fireplace. The lower sides were taken to make a chair using other wood from a pew (pic to follow) and I made the stops into coat hooks, leaving very little of the organ going to the tip.
