    "In brief, this headstone reads "Francis Blackburne II Eldest Son of Francis Blackburne Rector of Richmond and Arch Deacon of Cleveland He was for thirty five years vicar of this parish. .. He was born 12th June 1719. And died 21st January 1816". Life expectancy was a lot less in the 18thC than it is today, yet this old boy lived till he was nearly 97. Good clean air & pious living."
