Description
"This is the rough site of the deserted medieval village of Kearsley. It was first recorded in 1245. By 1586 it was described as a hamlet, and in 1769 it contained only three houses. Only one house now survives. An area of ridge and furrow can be seen to the north of the farmhouse...." -
