    "....Five stepped base surmounted by a Plinth with cornice and an obelisk. The inscription is on the sides of the plinth- WW1 inscription on 3 faces, and WW2 inscription on 12 o'clock face. The salutation is on base level 5 on the 6 o'clock face. There is a sheathed sword carved in relief on base level 2 of the 6 o'clock face..."
