Geographically, it covers a 'banana shaped' area approximately 40 miles across with Crook at the centre and was formed in 2006 from the amalgamation of three former Circuits, Crook & Willington Circuit, Spennymoor & Ferryhill Circuit and Weardale Circuit...."
