Original Slave Cabins

  • Description

These cabins are extremely important in American history as they are original. Cabins such as these were used by house servants; field hands slept in wooden cabins near the fields. They are located on the grounds of Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens in South Carolina. This photo has been altered to look similar to a 19th century photograph. However, I have also posted color photographs of these cabins.
