Life in Newcastle 2020: Grey Street

  • Description

A view looking up Grey Street towards Grey's Monument and the Monument Mall, you can just see the top of the Theatre Royal to the right of the image. This image was taken on a Friday evening in May, when you'd expect to see lots of people out enjoying an evening's entertainment. During lockdown that's not been possible as we're encouraged to stay at home and places like pubs, restaurants and theatres are closed.
