Site of Falstone First School

  • Description

"When the school closed in 1982 it was used as a field study centre for Northumberland Education Authority. It was made with a timber frame as were other schools in Northumberland. Defects were found in most of these buildings and the cost of repairing some was very costly so the Falstone building was demolished." Photo by Les Hull, 2009.
